Kontaktstandarder er stort sett harmonisert. Betaling er det ikke. Det er gapet som overrasker folk.
Kontakten er ikke problemet
CCS har blitt den de facto europeiske hurtigladingstandarden, og Type 2 den AC-standarden. Fysisk tilkobling over en grense er nesten aldri vanskeligheten. Eldre CHAdeMO-enheter er i tilbakegang og betyr bare noe for eldre kjøretøy.
Vanskeligheten er autentisering og fakturering — et forsknings- og policyproblem i seg selv [1].
Interoperabilitet for grensekryssende lading
Hva går egentlig galt
- Kortet ditt blir ikke akseptert fordi leverandøren din ikke har noen roamingavtale med den operatøren i det landet.
- Appen kan ikke autentisere fordi den trenger en datatilkobling og du har dårlig roaming.
- Prisingen er uklar i utlandet, med en roamingmargin på toppen av en utenlandstariff.
- Lokale ordninger krever lokal registrering, av og til med nasjonal ID eller bankkonto.
- Kontaktløs betaling er ikke universell, selv om nyere EU-reguleringer presser i den retningen for nye hurtigladere.
Før du setter i gang
- Sjekk operatørdekning på ruten din, ikke bare i destinasjonslandet.
- Last ned offline kart og ladedata. Mobilroaming er akkurat der du ikke kan stole på en datatilkobling.
- Kjenn to ladere ved hvert planlagt stopp. Redundans slår kraft — se vår pålitelighetsside.
- Sjekk tariffer på forhånd der du kan. Roamingmarginer i utlandet er ofte den største enkeltoverraskelsen.
- Planlegg stopp rundt fasiliteter, spesielt med barn — vår familietur nettside dekker rytmen.
