Conducir un coche eléctrico por una frontera
Los estándares de enchufe están en gran medida armonizados. El pago no lo está. Esa es la brecha que sorprende a la gente.
El conector no es el problema
CCS se ha convertido en el estándar europeo de carga rápida de facto, y el Tipo 2 en el estándar de CA. Conectar físicamente a través de una frontera casi nunca es la dificultad. Las unidades CHAdeMO heredadas están en declive y solo importan para vehículos más antiguos.
La dificultad es la autenticación y la facturación — un problema de investigación y política por derecho propio [1].
Interoperabilidad de carga transfronteriza
Qué es lo que realmente sale mal
- Tu tarjeta no es aceptada porque tu proveedor no tiene un acuerdo de itinerancia con ese operador en ese país.
- La aplicación no puede autenticar porque necesita una conexión de datos y estás en itinerancia con mala cobertura.
- Los precios son opacos en el extranjero, con un margen de itinerancia además de una tarifa extranjera.
- Los esquemas locales requieren registro local, ocasionalmente con un DNI o cuenta bancaria nacional.
- El contacto sin contacto no es universal, aunque la nueva regulación de la UE está impulsando esa dirección para los nuevos cargadores rápidos.
Antes de que salgas
- Verifica la cobertura del operador en tu ruta, no solo en el país de destino.
- Descarga mapas offline y datos de cargadores. La itinerancia móvil es exactamente donde no puedes confiar en una conexión de datos.
- Conoce dos cargadores en cada parada planificada. La redundancia supera a la potencia — consulta nuestra página de fiabilidad.
- Verifica las tarifas por adelantado donde puedas. Los márgenes de itinerancia en el extranjero son frecuentemente la mayor sorpresa individual.
- Planifica paradas en torno a instalaciones, especialmente con niños — nuestro sitio de viajes familiares cubre la cadencia.
